Hoa Lu, 100 km south of Hanoi, was the capital city of Vietnam under the Dinh & Le Dynasty between AD 968 and AD 1010. Some of the sanctuaries and tombs have survived the countless years and can still be visited today. Apart from the historical aspects, the area is also one of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Ha Long Bay.

It is true that this area is often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land. This one day tour includes a row boat trip along the Boi River, which makes a truly unforgettable trip!

Tour program:

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 08:00 AM then depart for Ninh Binh Province, after 2 hours driving, we arrive Ninh Binh. Our first visit is the former capital of Vietnam – Hoa Lu, visit two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the two heroes who lived in 10th century and chose Hoa Lu to build the citadel of the capital city of Dai Viet.

We proceed to Tam Coc for lunch. Tam Coc known as "Halong Bay on land" boasting breathtaking scenery, “Tam Coc” means three caves. After lunch we get on small rowing boats, the boat trip to all three caves takes about two hours. Drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at your hotel.
