Tour program:

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Night train to Lao Cai (/D)
Our tour guide and driver will welcome you at Noi Bai airport with our company’s sign board and escort you to the center of Hanoi.
You are then attending the Water Puppets show. Enjoy dinner before taking night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa – Cat Cat Village (B/L/)
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station at about 6.30. Take a transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast at local restaurant and explore Sapa Town. Check in and time at leisure.
In the afternoon, you will visit Sapa town and take a 2km short trekking to Cat Cat Village, the home of H’mong minority. Back to Sapa for lunch. In the afternoon visit Ta Fin village with Tafin handicraft shops and explore the daily life of Red Dzao. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa – Hill tribe villages (Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages) – night train to Hanoi (B/-/D)
In the morning, take a drive to visit Lao Chai village – home of Black H’Mong – here you trek through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life and habits. You trek through Ta Van village – home of Dzay hill tribe and get on car back to Sapa. Free time for relax before transfer to Lao Cai.  Have dinner at local restaurant before getting on night train to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
You will be met by your guide early this morning at Hanoi’s railway station. After breakfast you will have over 3 hours dride along the country side of the Red River Delta to the UNESCO world’s heritage site of Halong Bay. A traditional style Vietnamese Junk Cruise is waiting your arrival and will set sail at noon today. Lunch will be served on board amidst spectacular views of the bay. Today you will visit one of the largest caves in Halong Bay and included is a beach stop where perhaps you may want to take a swim or dip in the water of the South China Sea.

Tonight enjoy a fresh seafood dinner on the Junk. Overnight on the junk.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Ninh Binh (B/L/)
Participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply watch the sunrise over the magnificent bay. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or juice before setting out to the near- by cave on row boat. Watch for monkeys high on the cliff tops. Return back to the junk, where breakfast is served, while sailing around Bay Tu Long bay where the film “Indochine” was made. Your cruise will end at noon. Drive to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 6: Tam Coc Boat Trip – Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Hanoi (B/L/)
Have breakfast at the hotel, transfer you to Tam Coc boat station, Tam Coc known as "Halong Bay on land" boasting breathtaking scenery, “Tam Coc” means three caves. We get on small rowing boats, the boat trip to all three caves takes about two hours.

We continue visiting Bich Dong Grotto(emerald-like grotto), around 2km from Tam Coc by car, climb a little bit till you get to the top of the Upper pagoda and your eyes catch the overall panorama of the paddy fields between Truong Yen Mountain. The king conferred on Bich Dong the title “The Second Most Beautiful Grotto in Vietnam”. A scene of the popular French movie "Indochine" had been completed here in 1991.

We will get back to the hotel for refresh up, have lunch and take a short transfer through the peaceful country road to Hoa Lu, once the Vietnam’s ancient capital 11 centuries ago. Here are the two temples dedicated to the King Dinh and King Le, the founder of the capital in 10th century. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi - departure (B/)
Breakfast at hotel and free time until transfer to the airport for departure flight. End of travel service.
